The CitiBuy Help Desk cannot troubleshoot CitiBuy access problems that appear to be related to a vendor’s desktop configuration.  Our help desk staff does not have the expertise to do this and, even if they did, would be overwhelmed by trying to provide this service to thousands of active CitiBuy vendors.  This policy is reiterated in the disclaimer that is linked to the CitiBuy login page.

Because City personnel and vendors are accessing the same, publicly available, CitiBuy servers, our help desk staff is able to determine whether or not there is a CitiBuy problem related to a specific vendor complaint.  We are unable to find a problem with this solicitation and have confirmed that it is fully available to the vendor community via CitiBuy and that all of the attached documents can be downloaded.

Vendor problems in accessing CitiBuy may include desktop software issues involving corrupt Internet browser installs, multiple active pop-up blockers, anti-virus software and spyware.  These issues may be further complicated by Internet access configurations at the vendor’s Internet Service Provider.  When they arise, as they seem to have arisen in this case, we recommend that access be attempted from a different computer with different software settings and that vendors contact their normal desktop support technicians.

Due to the size of our vendor community and our need to provide the same opportunities to all vendors, we no longer offer: the sale of paper copies of bids, separate faxing of bids or separate emails containing bid documents.
